War on U.S.: How Policies and People are Destroying America

Nearly all the "hot button" world and domestic issues, as well as several unique subjects are covered in extensive detail from over ten years of research. Interjected with humor, sarcasm, and strong opinions, road rage, immigration, terrorism, energy, education, religion, the media, insurance, government, music, exercise, smoking, sports personalities, homosexuality and personal relationships are among the subject matter. Catch an "inside look" at the University of North Carolina's athletic operation, and the Carolina-Duke basketball rivalry. The main focus is encouraging Americans to become knowledgeable on the issues, while offering workable solutions to help the U.S. from being destroyed by its problems.

5Can't wait for the sequel  Oct 03, 2008
You may not agree with everything the author says, or everything I was quoted as saying, but this book definitely gives you much to think about.

As the person that introduced the author to South Park, I am proud of the many references in the book.

A must read for UNC fans, especially if you hate dook and ratface.

5You have to respect his authority.  Sep 14, 2008
Mr. Cherry shows uncommon insight into a variety of topics and problems that plague todays' world. He inspires thoughtful debate and injects just the right amount of humor in the right places. Nothing is held back in this decidedly politically IN-correct book. You may find yourself shedding a tear or two so Don't Forget to Bring a Towel.

5The Kind of Discussions We All Wish For  Sep 07, 2008
This book is like having a lively conversation with a friend...where there are no holds barred. The author allows you to sit at the table...or bar..and indulge in topical banter.
He is unapologetic for his personal thoughts and also for his humor...a qualities seldom grouped together in todays world. The book is a reflective..and at times reflexive response to the culture we find ourselves in. Reading it will put you into areas some might not care to examine, but as you find yourself responding..either for or against..you will find the mental exercise enjoyable.

5Love the book!  Sep 05, 2008
If you like honest discussion about issues, you'll love this book. Even if you don't agree with the authors view point, you will find yourself in laughter, as well as in thought, about some important and not-so-important issues. As a Carolina Fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the chapter on UNC (and dook) - thanks for the insights!
