The yellow dog with the pink nose May 09, 2008 This is a touching true story about a long-lost dog that finds a wonderful home and family to love. While in search for a home, the dog, Princess Leia, finds places, people, houses, of different colors, and numbers, information that young children can easily capture and learn while vividly living this heroic story. The most fantastic part is that, in spite of being a rescue, Princess Leia becomes a rescuer of human souls, becoming a therapy dog for people in hospitals, nursing homes and kindergarten classes. She is able to make people "feel very special." I highly recommend this book to everyone from ages 2-105!
Heartwarming Story Mar 04, 2008 This is such a wonderful book! I have given it as a gift several time because I think it is so good, and everyone I have given it to loves it too! I always here "my kids love that book or my daughter finally learned her numbers with that book!" It's just a feel good story, I now want a yellow dog with a pink nose!
Great story about a great dog! Dec 22, 2007 This book is perfect for preschool, kindergarten and lower grades(1-3) children--although I think any aged person would enjoy this story. Children will learn/practice their numbers, colors and just how to cope with any fears they may have. It's a nice story about a fabulous dog (someone you should know) and how she overcame her obstacles, found a loving home and became a therapy dog. It's a really nice story with a very happy ending.
